Fly to Keekorok and stay three nights at Sand River Masai Mara, an Elewana tented camp inside the reserve on the banks of the Sand River, close to the Tanzanian border, where the migration arrives from July. Game drives, sundowners and a bush meal are included.
Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara
Fly from Wilson Airport to Keekorok airstrip (about 45 minutes). Transfer to camp, lunch and an afternoon game drive.
Days 2–3: Maasai Mara
Shared game drives morning and afternoon in the southern Mara, with sundowners and a bush breakfast or lunch.
Day 4: Maasai Mara – Nairobi
Morning game drive, then fly back to Wilson Airport.

Good to know
- Prices are per person sharing, in USD, for non-residents
- Mara reserve fees are USD 100 a day from January to June and USD 200 from July to December, included above
- Children under 12 sharing with two adults stay free at the camp; teenagers 12–17 sharing with two adults pay 25% of the adult rate. Park or conservancy fees and flights still apply (flights 75% for children 2–11)
- Bags on light aircraft are limited to 15 kg per person in soft bags
