Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Entebbe Airport – Transfer to Lodge
- Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by your private safari driver and transferred to your lodge.
- Spend the remainder of the day relaxing or exploring local attractions like the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or the Uganda Wildlife Education Center.
- Overnight: Entebbe Forest Lodge (Luxury) / Hotel No.5 (Mid Range) / Boma Hotel (Standard).
- Meal Plan: Dinner
Day 2: Visit Mabamba Wetland for Shoebill & Transfer to Kibale Forest
- Enjoy a morning canoe adventure in Mabamba Wetland to search for the elusive shoebill stork.
- Embark on a scenic 6-hour drive to Kibale National Park with an en-route lunch.
- Overnight: Tabebuia Resort (Mid-Luxury) / Turaco Tree Tops (Mid Range) / Kibale Tourist Safari Lodge (Standard).

Day 3: Morning Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest & Afternoon visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary
- Venture into the forest for an exhilarating morning trek to find habituated chimpanzees.
- Afternoon visit to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for birdwatching, or a community visit to learn about local village life.

Day 4: Drive to Bwindi National Park
- Embark on a picturesque 6-7 hour drive through the rolling hills and traditional villages of western Uganda.
- Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon to relax and prepare for the next day’s trekking.
- Overnight: Gorilla Forest Lodge (Luxury) / Mahogany Springs (Mid Range) / Gorilla Leisure Lodge (Standard).
Day 5: Bwindi Gorilla Tracking & Visit Batwa Community Village
- Report to the ranger station at 8:00 am for a briefing before entering the dense rainforest in search of mountain gorillas.
- Savor an intimate hour observing these incredible creatures in their natural habitat.
- Step back in time with Batwa guides to learn how they lived and hunted in the forest for millennia.
- Overnight: Gorilla Forest Lodge / Mahogany Springs / Gorilla Leisure Lodge.
- Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 6: Fly to Entebbe Airport for Departure Flight
- Bid farewell to the forest and take a scenic flight from Kihihi or Kisoro airstrip to Entebbe.
- Proceed to the departure lounge for your international flight, marking the end of your adventure.
