Accessible Travel Kenya’s team meets you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, at the aircraft door if you need airside assistance, and helps with immigration and luggage. A short transfer in the company’s ramp or swivel-seat van to the Sarova Panafric. The afternoon is free to rest; your driver-guide briefs you on the days ahead.
A sunrise game drive in Nairobi National Park, with lion and rhino against the city skyline and breakfast in the park. At 11:00, the orphaned elephants at their mud bath at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust nursery. Lunch in a Karen garden restaurant, then eye to eye with Rothschild’s giraffes at the Giraffe Centre, feeding them by hand from the platform.
West down the Rift Valley escarpment, with a viewpoint stop and lunch in Narok. This is the trip’s longest road day, so Accessible Travel Kenya breaks it with rest stops; or fly Wilson to the Mara in about 45 minutes instead. Arrive at Sarova Mara Game Camp for a short evening drive.
A long game drive with a picnic lunch by the Mara River: lion, cheetah, elephant and, from July to October, the Great Migration and its river crossings.
Morning and evening drives with a rest afternoon at camp. Optional dawn hot-air balloon with champagne breakfast, or a visit to a Maasai village.
Back through Narok with a lunch stop, then on to Nakuru and the Sarova Woodlands. A quiet afternoon by the pool or at the spa.
A full day in the park: black and white rhino, Rothschild’s giraffe, tree-climbing lions, flamingos and pelicans on the shore, the view from Baboon Cliff and Makalia Falls.
About 3 hours back to Nairobi, then to the airport with meet and assist at check-in.
