I travelled in my Etac Balder electric wheelchair, and the Toyota Voxy was perfectly suited to our needs, with a ramp and a secure wheelchair locking system that felt safe and reliable. Everything was handled seamlessly—from transport coordination in Nairobi and Mombasa to equipment hire—and the team were flexible, responsive, and easy to work with throughout. A special thank you to our drivers, Hempstone and Betty. Their kindness, professionalism, and support made a real difference and truly enhanced the trip. I’d highly recommend Accessible Travel Kenya to anyone looking for reliable and well-organised accessible travel services.Posted on Google ShakeyWavey AfriqueTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Muthuri and team have identified and booked for me more than 3 wheelchair accessible trips across Kenya. Very keen on my accessibility needs and makes sure I have a comfortable stay each time. I look forward to more adventures together!Posted on Google Naomi RamsayTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Anyone with experience of travelling as a person with a disability will know that every detail requires extra planning. Ensuring you have suitable transport and accommodation for your individual access needs is a complex task, particularly when travelling to a different country. I highly recommend Muthuri and his team at Accessible Travel Kenya to take away this complexity, allowing you to enjoy what Kenya has to offer. After a 9-hour flight, we arrived in Kenya for our 2-week safari a little apprehensive as we weren’t sure how accessible everything would be for a wheelchair user. After a professional airport transfer and the first day of safari in Nairobi National Park, we knew we were in safe hands, so the apprehension turned to excitement for the rest of our trip. We had an amazing safari visiting Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Ol Pejeta and Samburu. The Land Cruiser with a ramp meant we could visit the remote areas of the parks and maximise wildlife viewings. All the accommodation had level access and spectacular views. Muthuri and Jimmy went beyond the basic requirements for an accessible safari. They taught us about wildlife conservation, the history of Kenya and even helped push another Land Cruiser out of the mud. They provided flexibility to go on game drives at the times at suited us and Jimmy tailored the routes to provide the best chance of seeing the wildlife we wanted to see. We can’t wait for an opportunity to go back to Kenya and find more of its unique treasures to enjoy!Posted on Google michael gichuruTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a great experience with Accessible Travel Kenya. I went to Masai Mara for a Safari. Everything went smoothly and the experience exceeded my expectations!Posted on Google Sarah STrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great experience with Steve's Accessible Travel Company. Cliff was my guide and always took care of me. I can't speak to the accessibility portion, I have no mobility limitations. They were able to customize an itinerary for me based on what I wanted to see. Solo female traveler and felt extremely safe. If you want to make your itinerary more efficient, ask them for a breakdown of hours per activity/drive so you can see if you need more rest or want to do more in a day.Posted on Google Chiara EneaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. About ten days ago, I completed a wonderful experience in Kenya with Accessible Travel. I recommend them to anyone with disabilities who wants a safe and peaceful experience, guided step by step through the organization and implementation of their dream trip with love and dedication.
