Take the Madaraka Express to Mombasa and our accessible van up the coast to Malindi for three nights in a garden suite at Kobe Suite Resort, a small resort with suites set in gardens. Breakfast is included; lunch and dinner are à la carte.
Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Malindi
Morning SGR from Nairobi Terminus to Mombasa. Our accessible van meets you at the station for the drive north to Malindi, about 2 hours 30 minutes.
Days 2–3: Malindi
Days at leisure. Malindi’s old town, the Marine Park and Gede Ruins near Watamu are close by and can be added.
Day 4: Malindi – Nairobi
Breakfast, then the van takes you back to Mombasa Terminus for the train to Nairobi.

- The resort is closed from 25 April to 9 July 2027
- 21 December 2027 – 11 January 2028 is quoted on request (minimum 4 nights)
- Bookings are non-refundable; cancelling 14 days or more before arrival gives a voucher valid for 12 months
- Train times and seats are confirmed at booking; SGR fares can change
