Day 1:Tarangire National Park
Tarangire is a park of giant baobab trees, rolling savannah, and acacia parkland, famous for its dense wildlife population—most spectacular in the dry season (June–September), when thousands of wildebeest, zebra, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, and oryx migrate from the Maasai steppe to the Tarangire River in search of water. Over 550 bird species have been recorded here.
The western Lake Burungi route (about 80 km) winds through combretum and acacia woodlands, with a chance of spotting leopard and rhino, plus views of Lakes Burungi and Manyara and the peaks of Milima Mitatu (“Three Hills”).

Day 2 – Central Serengeti: Seronera Valley & River (Big Cat Country
Depart the lodge and drive to the Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (about 3 hrs), enjoying a full day of wildlife and landscapes. Seronera, in the central Serengeti, spans roughly 1,800 sq miles of long-grass plains, savannah, riverine areas, lakes, and granite kopjes. It offers excellent year-round game viewing and supports a greater diversity of resident wildlife than anywhere else in the Serengeti—elephant, giraffe, impala, waterbuck, hippo, topi, reedbuck, buffalo, and baboon. This resident prey draws Africa’s highest concentrations of big cats (lion, leopard, and cheetah), hyenas, and smaller predators like mongoose, jackal, serval, and bat-eared fox.

Day 3 Extensive Game Drive, Central Serengeti (Moru Kopjes)
The Maasai Kopjes in the Moru area offer tremendous wildlife viewing. These towering granite kopjes are home to the famous “Maasai lion pride,” one of the most studied prides of the Serengeti Lion Project. The nearby swamp shelters the rare Bohor reedbuck and is a favorite hunting ground for the pride. Each kopje is its own miniature ecosystem, with hyrax, mongoose, lizards, and birds. Black rhino inhabit the area year-round, and large herds of wildebeest and zebra gather here.
A highlight is Gong Rock, where a short walk leads to Maasai rock paintings. Just east lies the saline Lake Magadi, a great spot for pink flamingos.

Day 4 – Serengeti to Ngorongoro via Maasai Bomas
Leave the Serengeti and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater through scenic landscapes. En route, stop at a Maasai boma to enjoy traditional dances and learn how the Maasai live alongside dangerous wildlife such as lions.

Day 5 – Ngorongoro Crater
After taking in the crater view from the rim, descend for a full day of game viewing on the crater floor. Called the eighth wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken volcanic caldera on Earth, about 260 sq km, with walls rising 600 m from the floor. Formed when the volcano collapsed some 2 million years ago, it’s home to more than 30,000 large mammals (gazelle, buffalo, eland, hartebeest, warthog) and has the highest predator density in the world.
