Fly from Nairobi to Arusha and travel Tanzania’s northern circuit between four Serena properties: Arusha, Lake Manyara on the Rift Valley escarpment, the Serengeti plains and the rim of Ngorongoro Crater.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Arusha
Fly from Wilson Airport to Arusha. Transfer to Arusha Serena Hotel on Lake Duluti, bed and breakfast.

Day 2: Arusha – Lake Manyara
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon game drive. Full board at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge, on the escarpment above the lake.

Day 3: Lake Manyara – Serengeti
Drive over the Ngorongoro highlands into the Serengeti, with a game drive on the way to Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 4: Serengeti
Full day of game drives in the central Serengeti, where big cats are seen all year.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro
Morning game drive, then drive to Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge on the crater rim.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater
Descend into the crater for a game drive among black rhino, lion and huge herds of zebra and wildebeest.

Day 7: Ngorongoro – Arusha – Nairobi
Drive back to Arusha and fly to Nairobi.
