Four nights at the Zanzibar Serena Hotel, two restored merchants’ houses on the Stone Town seafront, with a guided walk through the old town and time for spice farms, beaches or a sunset dhow.
Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Zanzibar
Fly from Wilson Airport to Zanzibar and transfer to the Zanzibar Serena Hotel.
Day 2: Stone Town
Half-day guided tour of Stone Town: the House of Wonders, the old slave market, the Darajani market and the carved doors of the old town.
Days 3–4: Zanzibar
Days at leisure. Spice tours, Jozani Forest, Prison Island or a sunset cruise can be added.
Day 5: Zanzibar – Nairobi
Transfer to the airport and fly back to Nairobi.
